Bring your own MongoDB

Keep your analytics data in a database you own (for example MongoDB Atlas).

Available on plans that include it. Open Workspace → Data storage → Connect your MongoDB.

What you need

  • MongoDB 5.0 or newer reachable over the internet with TLS (Atlas works out of the box).
  • A database user with the readWrite role on one database.
  • Customer360's server IPs added to your network access list.
  1. 1Paste the connection string and database name, click Test connection.
  2. 2Click Connect & move data (2FA required). History is copied, every collection's count is verified, then Customer360 switches over.
  3. 3You can update the credentials or move back to Customer360 storage at any time: nothing is lost either way.

Good to know: With your own database, backups and uptime are your responsibility. If it becomes unreachable, Customer360 holds tracking data for up to 72 hours, emails your admins and writes everything once it is back.
