Capture your website's own forms, newsletter and Google One Tap

Turn the contact and newsletter forms already on your site into leads: no code: plus Google One Tap and a JavaScript call.

5 min read

With the Customer360 script installed, Engage → Website forms lists every form visitors open on your site: Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor, Webflow, Wix, plain HTML and more. Customer360 only reads the form's *structure* (field names and labels), never what people type, until you switch a form on.

  1. 1Open your contact page once so the form appears in the list.
  2. 2Click Set up. Customer360 has already guessed which field is the email, phone, name and message: correct anything that's wrong.
  3. 3Pick the type: Contact / enquiry, Newsletter or Sign-up. Optionally choose the checkbox that means "send me offers".
  4. 4Click Save & capture. From now on each submission appears in Leads with the campaign that brought the visitor, and can start a journey.
  • Only the fields you map are sent. Passwords, card numbers, OTPs and hidden fields are never read.
  • Newsletter forms record an email opt-in (for journeys sent to opted-in contacts). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe; subscribing again lifts an earlier unsubscribe.
  • Search boxes are ignored. Add data-elexy-ignore to any other form you never want listed.

Google One Tap

Show Google's one-click sign-in prompt on your site. The visitor's verified Google email and name become a lead. Create a Web OAuth client in Google Cloud, add your website addresses as *Authorized JavaScript origins*, paste the client ID and turn it on. Customer360 checks every sign-in with Google's keys and your client ID, so it can't be faked.

Tip: Keep it off checkout and login pages (they're excluded by default). If your site already has its own One Tap, don't turn this on: call elexy("lead") from your existing callback instead.

For developers

React/single-page or multi-step forms: turn on Accept elexy("lead", …) and call it after your form succeeds.

elexy("lead", { email: "asha@example.com", name: "Asha Rao", phone: "+91 98765 43210", form: "Contact page", kind: "contact" });

Forms that post to your own server or CRM: turn on Add the visitor id to my forms. Each form gets a hidden elexy_vid field; send it to the Generic webhook as visitorId and the lead is linked to the visitor's campaign and journey.
